Ever heard of guerrilla knitting? In August 2005, a group of knitters vented their frustrations over half-finished projects and came up with the idea to form a tag crew to "yarn-bomb" everything from parking meters to public monuments. Thus, the "Knitta" group was formed. Over the years, this DIY movement has expanded globally. Houston, NYC, Seattle, Montreal, France, Sweden, Germany, El Salvador, China, etc. have all be yarn-bombed! Learn more about the group on their website, Knitta, Please.
